My favourite songs

So I recently decided to update my list of all-time favourite songs, since I haven’t updated the list in a while.

Criteria for my all-time favourite songs:

  • I like it (never would have guessed that, hm?)
  • I can listen to it for 24 hours on repeat (when listening to music) and not get bored by it (my record lies at 3 days) AND / OR I cannot stop moving/singing to this song no matter what you do to me

That’s all. There isn’t anything else. I don’t make a difference regarding music genre, artists, origin or something like that. Of course a lot of the songs are Korean though, since it is the main kind of music I listen to but there are others too.

So let’s get into it and feel free to check out the songs and watch the videos, I hope you can find some songs to love too.

Except for the last two in the list, no specific order. The last two are the ones that ALWAYS get me.

Taylor Swift (ft. Brendon Urie) – ME!

This song has totally taken over my head. There is no way I can stop this song in any way. It’s on repeat and I love it ^.^ Also while I know I sound awful singing to it, I still just sing full volume. This song is so addicting and both of their voices mix so well together.

Little Mix – Secret Love Song, Pt.II

I didn’t even know it was their song I listened to for some time. I just had this song mix I was listening to and never looked it up until I started listening repeatedly and finally did my research. Well, since then I’ve listened to the song so many times…

(the video is the actual version of the song, I like the just Little Mix version more though)

VIXX – Eternity

VIXX is my favourite K-Pop group, together with Infinite, but compared to Infinite, they have a song on my all-time favourite list. And a big one at that. Expect for the absolute number one (see list below) Eternity holds the best record. Three days only this song and I did not get desperate for anything else.

Celine Dion – My Heart Will Go On

I so don’t want this song to be on this list but tbh it is…I cannot listen to this song for more than 1 hour but I still always, without exception, sing to it. I want to stop…but it’s just sooo hard not to sing. And that from a person who knows she cannot sing for the life of her…

ATEEZ – Pirate King

This song does not really fit into my usual song tastes I thought in the beginning. But then I listened again and again and realised I really like the rhythm in the verses and the melody as well as sounds in the chorus. Normally there is at least one part of the song I don’t like (most of the time the rap part) but with this song, I can’t find it. I love the song so much…and since then I’m also a ATEEZ fan!

ATEEZ – Say My Name

I thought long and hard whether I really want to include two ATEEZ songs on this list since they are my favorite group and that means I’m quite biased but let me be honest, I’ve listened to Say My Name and Pirate King so much that my head can sing it without hearing the actual music so I decided to be honest here. Say My Name kind of cemented my love for ATEEZ and I’ve never been able to go back to my old self since then. I love the song, the dance, the video, the performance…I love everything about it!

Nick Jonas – Introducing Me

Hahahahaha, this song actually comes from the Disney Channel movie Camp Rock but, well, it’s just so fun. And while some people might name it as my guilty pleasure, I’m not embarassed at all to say that I know the lyrics by heart ^.^

Teen Beach Movie Cast – Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’

On the topic of Disney Channel, I have to add another song. This time kind of a guilty pleasure though. This song is great if you have to do house work and with this song you can just put it on full surround sound volume and bruise through the house cleaning ^.^ This one I have never listened to for more than a few hours (cleaning time) but I know I could, also moving and dancing to this song is a choice for me but even if it is a guilty pleasure, jumping around to this one, feels just amazing!

Gestört aber GeiL – Lieblingsarchitekt

I discovered this song I think about two months ago or something like that. And well, since then it’s been on pretty much every playlist I’ve created for myself on my phone. I just love the song. It is upbeat but also has a nice and fluid chorus.

BTS – Fire

There are four songs on this list you should not play while I’m working. One is Introducing Me, since I would totally start singing it without realizing, the other are two songs below but the top song is Fire. I have yet to experience a moment when the song was playing and I did not start moving. Hasn’t happened yet but I’m still trying. Not very hopeful though since the song is just so addicting and crazy strong.

Eric Nam – Potion

Eric Nam is the only artist that is featured twice on my all-time favourite artists list and I don’t regret that choice at all. I just love his voice and his songs and Poison just sold it for me that he is one of my favourite solo artists. Also the music video is really beautiful.

Eric Nam – Hold Me

This song made me fall totally in love with Eric Nam’s voice. Seriously I stopped listening to this song because when I played it once, I played it again and again and again and even if my ears hurt I wanted to hear it again…aw…I wanne hear it again now…this song is just so sweet.

Shawn Mendes – There’s Nothing Holding Me Back

This one and the next one are the songs I have to be careful about. I always sing to There’s nothing holding me back. I put it as my ringtone and it’s always fun how I forget to pick up and just listen to the song 😀 that’s how much I love the song. Seriously, I bought the CD album just for this one song (the other songs are good too but I just love this song too much).

Backstreet Boys – I Want It That Way

Soooo, this one…this one gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. With some songs above I have the problem of not being able to stop singing or moving, with this one, I can’t stop doing both. And there isn’t really much dancing you have to do with this song. I just move my hands and feel the song and have fun with it. My work colleague had her fun when she played it once and I almost sang the song to our clients on the phone. Well…this one is definitely my guilty pleasure!

This is my list of all-time favourite songs. It changes from time to time but 90% of the time it’s songs being added rather than songs being removed from the list. Also, it took me a long time to gather the links since I just started listening to the songs instead of writing the post 🙂

Note: ever since watching the new Aladdin trailer I’ve been listening to A Whole New World, so I should have probably added that one too since the song is my favourite Disney song and I know all of the lyrics as well as love singing it.

Do you also have songs like this? What are your all-time favourite songs?

See you next time! Have a nice week!

K-Pop Bands – Introduction

You may know already – if not, this must be your first post from my site – I’m a big K-Pop fan. I talk about my favourite K-Pop groups quite often, so recently I realised I haven’t really wrote about K-Pop bands before. Well, do not worry, today I will right that wrong!! ^.^

Note: These are like my favourite K-Pop bands – translates to mainstream K-Pop/K-Rock bands since I don’t know much about the band genre and don’t even wanna seem like I know a lot when I don’t. Also try searching for K-Pop bands on google…believe me you will not find what you want. There is a difference between bands and groups, everyone!!!! -___-

Note II: This post is mainly for people who have not idea that something like K-Pop bands exist AND/OR want to appreciate them more.

Note III: The music video examples are either their latest release, my favourite or one that is like their signature video. That translates to: maybe too many ballads and less fast and strong songs, sorry.

ftisland

-Best known, mainstream while not being mainstream, a classic-

F.T.Island

So, FTIsland is definitely one of the most known K-Pop bands out there. Funny enough to say, that they are actually a K-Rock band. I guess in the last few years they have actually been following the Rock genre more than the songs before. Well, I still like them. They pretty much made it possible for other “K-Pop” bands to become as successful as mainstream K-Pop groups. A classic and definitely one of the first bands to be part of the Hallyu wave.

Note: The song starts like a ballad but turns it up around the end.

cnblue-teaser-1

-Funky, smooth, prove that bands are great-

CNBlue

CNBlue proved that FNC Entertainment is the best label regarding K-Pop bands and getting them into the mainstream fandoms. With a much less rock-y and a lot more funky and smooth sound CNBlue managed to suprise me a lot. Since they are from the same label as FTIsland, I thought there were gonna be serious problems about fans deciding between them but their music and their overall “feeling” seems different enough, I think. Watch some of their videos and you’ll realise that both groups are very different indeed.

day-6

-Almost too much talent, individuality & creativity from a Big 3 major music factory-

Day6

I think Day6 was the first K-Pop band from one of the Big 3 companies in K-Pop (the first one that actually started out as a band and did not change later on – see below). There were a lot of expectations, a lot of music and a lot of member changes but overall Day6 proves time and time again, that they are amazingly creative and talented, all of them. While not the biggest band out there, they made a name for themselves and definitely proved to be one of the best.

wonder-girls-full-78945

-Disbanded but left an amazing song and a big hole for female mainstream bands-

Wonder Girls

Wonder Girls started out as a K-Pop group and after some member changes, some drama and a hiatus, they returned as a band and delivered the song Why So Lonely. While the fun did not last long and in the end they did disband, the song will definitely stay in my head for a long long long time.

23328

-Sweet, sweeter, the sweetest, coming from an unexpected source-

HONEYST

Another FNC Entertainment band. Well, I admit I don’t know much of Honeyst except they did a survival show – or something similar – with FNC’s only male K-Pop non-band group SF9. Well, I did check out their songs for this list, also because I did know their name. HONEYST is definitely like honey. Sweet and sweet and sweet. And amazingly they even manage to give you all that sweetness looking really relaxed and calm. I’m definitely curious what we can expect in the future.

the-rose

-An surprise and delight for ears and eyes…who is this? WOW-

The Rose

The Rose is quite different from HONEYST. Pretty much the opposite. While the previous show a calm and relaxing state, The Rose presents you with a charismatic look whatever they sing. Whether the song is fast, rock-y, more quiet…doesn’t matter, they always present a strong and willful look that makes you look twice and hit the replay button again. About their songs in general: After all this time, I still cannot decide whether I like their songs or not.

f659c465eda215fa0c7ad43a18b428e9347c639f_hq

-It should be a crime not to love them and it’s definitely a crime if you love them too much-

TheEastLight.

Watch their video and you know what I mean with the intro for this one. Seriously, the oldest one is only 18, I think…so yea. TheEastLight. offers stronger and faster songs, while also having some slower ones full of feelings and ballad-y stuff. So about their music…nothing more to say, watch the video below and melt away when you hear 0:46…I think I melted of my chair right then and there. The future for K-Pop bands is definitely looking good.

nflying

-Funky, happy and just a pleasure to enjoy the music with them-

N.Flying

N.Flying is like the crazy uncle everyone wants. Or the funny aunt that takes you around and makes you promise not to tell your parents or she will never take you to the amusement park again. Well…N.Flying is best described as a WHOLE LOT OF FUN. Their songs are really nice, don’t take themselves too seriously and they have really good chemistry, at least that is what it looks like. There have been some member additions over time and I think that makes the band even more complete.

So maybe you found something you like, maybe not, but at least you can’t say you haven’t heard of them before ^.^ that’s all for now. Have fun listening to music!

“The Unit”: review and finale

If you haven’t watched the finale of The Unit: The Idol Rebooting Project, well be aware there will be spoilers now.

Before you think I’m like the rest of the fans – or at least A WHOLE LOT of them – I’m not here to speak bad about them but actually to praise The Unit. Why? Because I think the show was nice and especially compared to other survival shows, the end results make sense. But let’s start at the basics:

The Unit – General

0001530485_001_20171018165847530

If you don’t know what The Unit is: The Unit started in 2017 as an idol rebooting project. There are so many idols whose groups did not make it big or did not have the impact to leave an impression. The Unit‘s aim was to give them another chance. Around 500 people auditioned, some well known idols, some newbies and so on and then went through multiple missions where they could show what they’ve got and try not to be eliminated throughout the show. Then in the finale there would be 9 female and 9 male members who would build a Unit G and a Unit B and debut.

So people critizised the show a lot because there were a lot of idols on the show who hadn’t even debuted before – which means it’s not like idol rebooting but more like totally new – as well as idols who had debuted in the same year, which also seemed quite unfair since others had debuted years before and were more desperate.

Well, I’m not gonna go into those critics right now, since all that doesn’t really matter – since the background of the final members are the ones that count in the end, I guess.

The show itself

A lot of people critizised the editing and the overall episodes of The Unit because it showed the idols mostly having fun and not revealing a sad story behind them…okay, I cannot even describe what people wanted without sounding like I think all those fans who hoped for sad stories and tears all the time, are …can I actually curse on a blog? well, just imagine a curse word starting with A here. In my opinion it’s great they showed the idols having fun, building friendships and showing their character – if you haven’t noticed nowadays you can either be popular in K-Pop through a great song (happens very rarely) or by being known for your character. So I love how they showed the idols’ characters as well as revealing some of the stories in the interviews.

But I have enough of shows that only show idols’ crying and being sad and desperate, I mean it’s good they are happy, right? But people weren’t on board with that it seems.

I understand when people are angry at the editing in the beginning when some of their favourites weren’t shown much, since there were just too many people, so I understand how the editing wasn’t great then but later on in the show I have to say, I think the editing kind of evened out and became a lot fairer. In the finale you could ask me for the names of all the contestants and I could have told you all of them (which was NOT the case for Produce 101 for me, just as a comparison, since everyone seems to think that show was a lot better).

The final members

I have watched a lot of idol survival shows. Some with new trainees, some just about one groups or one label, some big with over 100 idols and so on. I watched a lot. And compared with all the other shows, the results of The Unit seem to make the most sense.

Let’s go to Unit G: Euijin was always number 1, so it’s no surprise she made it. Also SONAMOO is a name we know but well, that’s about it. I know it and I think I’ve heard their songs here and there but otherwise not much impact. Yebin was also always kind of in the top spots and I think she totally deserves being there since her group DIA is actually mostly known for Chaeyeon and I think it’s great Yebin fights to make her group more known as a whole. Most of the top spots in Unit G are ranked with members who had been in the top spots before. Another example, NC.A. She definitely deserves to be there and she debuted some time ago and didn’t leave much of an impact, so she really deserves this chance. Then there is Yoonjo, she fell out of the rankings for a few weeks but managed to get back. I think it is surprising she made such a comeback but it’s in a reasonable frame, so I’m not like “how?” Also she had debuting experience before, so now critics from me. Next in line, Lee Hyunjoo, she also fell out of the top 9 for I think a week? Well, I think she has been in the top 9 ranking every week before, so after not being in there last week, her fans probably came together to vote her into the top 9 in the final. Makes sense. She also has debuting experience, so yeah. I don’t think I have to say anything about Yang Jiwon. She was in the top 9 in every ranking and she was from the group SPICA and proved she is amazing, there is nothing left to say. Woohee of Dal Shabet has also been in the top rankings for quite a lot of rankings, so it makes sense and with Dal Shabet she also has real debuting experience before The Unit. The last two, ZN of Laboum and Lee Suji of – I think – The Ark, managed to fight their way up into the high ranks, so even that makes sense. It’s a steady rise for ZN and an up and down for Lee Suji. Both have real debuting experience, so the show stayed true to its aim here.

misc_1518282733_dvsblk1vqaibx1r

So critics, all of the members have a good reason to be in the final 9. Then why do people still critizise the results? Mostly, because some others did not make it. Like Euna Kim and Semmi. For Euna Kim, I think she became victim of the usual “She’s gonna make it anyway, so let’s vote for others”. She finished 10th so missed it very narrowly, so I think some of her fans really did not think she wouldn’t make it and voted for someone else. It’s sad and not fair but it happens in the finale of survival shows quite often.

With Semmi, she is one of the The Unit participants who, I think, made it into the top rankings through the episodes alone and less by having a fandom before the show. Unfortunately for the finale, a lot of fans who had their fixed favourites came together, so she lost her top spot to others who had been in the top rankings before here. This one is just unfortunate and I had hoped for her to get in.

Overall, I think the results for Unit G are, well, within reason? I know people are not happy with all of the results, even I’m not, but it makes sense and we can complain but I really don’t think the voting was unfair or something like this. It seems reasonable.

So, let’s go to Unit B: Fans definitely voted for who they liked in the finale and less for who they thought did well. Sorry to say it like this, but while Unit G is very explainable with previous results, Unit B seems like fans were like coming together and voting like crazy for their favourites. But let’s go member by member. Jun, no need to say anything here, He’s been in the top spots every ranking, he’s talented and with U-Kiss he has real debuting experience as well as a reason to be here, since the group lost some members and while it is known, it never left a HUGE impact. Second place, Euijin, also in the top spots since Ep…7 I think? so that makes sense and with BIGFLO he has debuting experience. Tbh, I had only known there was a group like BIGFLO but that was about it, so this time rebooting really seemed to be achieved. Number 3 Go Hojung, also in the top spots for the last few ranking and from the group HOTSHOT, meaning rebooting is succeesful here too. Next is FeelDog. He has also been in the top spots ever since the beginning, he is talented and he already debuted under BigStar before, so yeah. So, the next one is critizised a lot and I understand why, although I don’t support it. Marco has a always been a charming boy of The Unit and tbh I’ve asked myself, why he didn’t make it into the top spots before. It is surprising he made it now but not totally unreasonable. He always had fans and managed to even charm fans who had other favourites, so I guess people came together and really pushed the voting for him. Also ever since the screen time got evened out a little bit and in the last few episode he showed more of himself and people noticed him more. So, I understand how he landed where he is. As for debuting experience. He debuted in a group in 2017, the same year when the show started but tbh I have never heard of their group before. I get why people critizise him being even in the show. Still, he managed to get in the top spots by his charm and his talents, so I forgive the show for that. Next one is an even worse case of why is he even in the show: Ji Hansol, no previous debuting experience and I cannot really fight for him in this argument. I mean if he was pushed out of his previous debuting chance I get it, since this would be like another chance, but I don’t he was pushed out, but I don’t know exactly. As for the voting, well, he has been in the top spots enough times before so that makes sense. Finally someone again, where I do not have to look for a reason for them to be in the show, Daewon of MADTOWN. Well, MADTOWN lived through some tough times but did debut and left not enough impact to make it big. So Daewon has debuting experience and he’s always been a top contender in the show, so this result makes sense too. Next one is Kijoong and while I don’t have to explain how he made it there, since he’s also always been in the top spots, he debuted the same month as the show started I think so about debuting…it’s debatable I guess. I mean I saw the debut of IM and well…wasn’t really impressed and forget them the moment I clicked on something else, so I guess there was no impact but it’s debateable whether he really counts as rebooting. Last but not least we have Chan of A.C.E. I think he is like the Semmi of Unit B. He managed to get to this spot not by having a lot of fans beforehand but by getting the fans through The Unit. He climbed his way up to the top and I think the reason why he managed to get so high up in the ranking – he also shined more when the editing evened out, as well as leaving an impression through performances. At least for me he left a real impression in the performances. As for debuting experience, he did debut with A.C.E and this time I think it is just mean when people think he is in the show unfairly. A.C.E got small recognition in the beginning but they did not make it big even though their song was really good and you could see them disappearing in the shadows, so at least I give it to him, for being in The Unit for a reason.

misc_1518321233_2

So what about the members who did not make it? Well, Seyong has been on an up and down path over the whole show so I’m not surprised he did not make it into the final 9. It’s unfortunate but within reason. Jeup is the same, he has also been on an up and down and it’s reasonable he’s not in the top 9. Unfortunate but reasonable. The two people where fans are furious: Kim Timoteo and Donghyun. Well, Timoteo lost a lot of his initial voting where he was still number 1, but he was still number 5 last week. I think he also fell victim to the “he’s gonna get in anyway” so people used their voted for others. He’s been in the top rankings even after not being number 1 anymore, so even I thought he would make it anyway – well, the unfortunate and mean side of survival shows. Donghyun…one reason why he’s not in the top spots is the same as Timoteo’s. People just assumed. Here, though, is another reason. A lot of his support for the finals came from international fans. Translates to “People who couldn’t vote”. Marco and Kijoong got a lot more popularity from locals than Donghyun, who is amazingly loved by international fans, but unfortunately we couln’t vote the same way locals did, and so it ended this way.

Overall

Overall I think the results make sense and for at least 70%-80% The Unit managed to achieve their goal of rebooting idols. I think the biggest reason why fans are critizising the show so much, is because the editing was crap in the beginning and they wanted to see sad sobbing stories…well, sorry, that the boys and girls are happy to get another chance, and also because their favourites didn’t make it into the top spots. I’m also not a 100% happy with the results but for me it makes sense so I don’t complain.

I also think the show seemed a lot more fun than other survival shows, even though I was a big critic in the beginning, but in the end, the show could win me over.

I hope Unit G and Unit B make it big and get the recognition they deserve!!!

The Kings of Synchronization – K-POP

Yes, K-Pop again, what do you expect of someone so in love with this genre as me? I mainly listen to K-Pop and the only time I hear other songs are through the radio in shops and in the car sometimes, because where I’m from there is definitely no K-Pop radio channel.

Well, let’s get right into it. This post is about the male K-Pop groups that put synchronization on another level. I can already tell you it will probably end like expected since most fans seem to know who the kings of synchro are – currently. That currently here is very important because I will also mention the former top one kings of synchro and they only got pushed down from number one recently – which means it can happen again – not that I complain, since I love all of the groups so much.

So for people who have not thought about this – which is pretty much impossible if  you are a K-Pop fan I think – then you will see some interesting stuff. If you already know about the best synchro in the business – well, then you’ll probably get confirmation for your beliefs.

NOTE: This is just my opinion and this is just for fun and I do not own anything.

CRITERIA

(mostly) same moves / great synchro; I don’t care about how popular or famous they are; looking cool; I did some research but I’m giving away points myself too. Just don’t take this too seriously…

I’M NOT GONNA MENTION GROUPS THAT ARE GOOD AT DOING INDIVIDUAL MOVES WHILE GIVING A SYNCHRONIZED PICTURE. Just those that really focus on synchro or those whose synchro sticks out.

‘Just WOW’ – TRCNG

I have no idea how to pronounce their name but when I saw their dance practice I knew I just had to include them here. Just wow. I don’t know much about them, since they debuted pretty recently but they. are. good. Synchronization 100% and a candidate for the top to watch in the future!

‘So much Charisma’ – NTC127

I’m not really a fan of  NCT in in general. Not because they are bad – they’re not, they’re great. It’s mostly that their songs are just not my style and that I don’t know much about them but even I have to admit that they are great dancers always giving an interesting performance. And they have a talent for synchronization, definitely.

‘The Impact kings’ – BTS

Everyone in K-Pop knows that BTS are great at dancing and performing, doesn’t matter if you’re their fan or not. If you’re not their fan and claim they are crap at it, you are definitely kidding yourself. I would not put BTS in a list of best vocal groups – they’re good but there are just many groups better. I would put them in a list with rappers…I think. Well, doesn’t matter, this is dance and they definitely belong on dance list. They are not only awesome at synchronized dancing but also dominate the individual dancing scene in K-Pop groups.

“Suprise!!!” – Astro & UP10TION & Wanna One

These groups and the next one kinda belong together but also don’t belong together. Let’s take it one by one. Astro…well, they are cute and definitely showed good dancing from the beginning and then…well then, more videos came out and soon I realised that they were awesome at synchronized dancing. The only reason why many people don’t realise is because they don’t have as many members as a lot of other groups. A thing I’m impressed about – their dances are FAST and SYNCHRONIZED!! Double points. (starts at 0:50…their synchro is almost scary)

UP10TION is a group that is there while not there. I wish they got more attention. They are really talented but somehow the big boom to the top hasn’t happened yet. I hope they make it big in the future!! Their choreos are also great with a good mix of individuality and synchro. (starts at 0:29)

Wanna One, a survival show produced idol group – look it up if you don’t know them. There is a wikipedia article to, I think, all the groups I’m mentioning here. Wanna One has 11 members and I’m surprised by their good synchronization since they haven’t known each other that long. Other groups train together for years, in Wanna One’s case, they are from (mostly) different labels and companies but seem to get along just fine, thankfully, and despite having enjoyed different training periods, they are rocking the dancing game out there.

‘So Smooth’ – GOT7 & Monsta X & Pentagon

Smooth because while they are good at synchronized dancing they don’t stick it in your face like most of the other groups on this list (which is not a bad thing even if it sounds like it, when I say it like this).

GOT7 has showed great synchro in most of their songs and choreos and never stick it in your face or put it as their focus. Still there songs are great and they seem to match each others moves with a relaxed pace which definitely puts them high in the list. Compared to others their synchro doesn’t seem as forced or trained and much more natural.

Monsta X always surprises me with their talent. Especially their dancing. I really didn’t realize they were that good at dancing but they are. Not only are many of their choreos exhausting and hard to dance to but they are also with a great chemistry and synchronization.

Pentagon is one of the groups that shows synchronization sometimes and suddenly everything is different again. Before you even realise what happened the synchronized part is over again…so, they are really good at synchro, just their focus isn’t concentrated on it. They mainly seem to concentrate on good dancing instead of just choreo and I can just say, they deliver.

‘I See A Future’ – SF9 & KNK & Golden Child

I never really looked strong enough at KNK to realised how much synchronization is in their songs. Seriously I only realised after someone pointed it out. And wow…they are really good. Not only at fast moves but also slow synchronization and they still keep the details and don’t slack at their moves. Compliments!

SF9 and Golden Child. SF9 debuted some time before GoChi and it’s a little bit noticeable because their dancing and songs became a little bit more experienced and mature even if it hasn’t been a long time. Well, SF9 definitely always surprises and wows with their synchronization and choreos. Also they just ooze charisma, show great dancing and seem either like they are really enjoying themselves or at least give their best in every performance. I cannot wait to see where they will go in the future.

Golden Child is definitely a candidate to watch in the future. Just with their debut song they already set a stepping stone in the right direction so I’m very curious if they’ll change or keep that course and maybe one day will take the top spot.

“Forever the Top” – Infinite

Infinite has been on the top of the list of best synchronized dancing of male K-Pop groups – who am I kidding – K-Pop groups in general for …wait, I looked it up…5 years or more. Then came the number one, see later, but Infinite is still at the top and dominating the synchronized game. Their advantage: They mix synchro with experience and seem a lot more relaxed than most of the groups on this list while dancing and showing their best. For me, Infinite will always be the kings of synchronization in my heart.

“The kings” – Seventeen

You saw this coming? Well, then you know your synchronization. Seventeen surprised, wowed and astonished with their synchronization. Their number of members is an advantage and also a disadvantage. They managed to make it into a big advantage. Synchronization always seems better, when you’re a lot of people but it is really hard to match. Well, Seventeen manage and definitely deserves the number one spot.

Special mention: VIXX (they focus more on charismatic and a lot on emotional dance, with also many individual movements that mix together awesomely), SHINee (king of dances, but their synchro is more individualized than I thought, still definitely one of the top dancing groups in K-Pop) and many others, but this is my list so I can do what I want XP

I hope you liked the list. I’m open for comments, reviews, questions, just comment down below and I’ll read it as soon as possible – translation: the next time I read my emails, like 1-2 days after since I’m lazy – but I WILL DEFINITELY read it.

Bye ^.^

K-Pop’s top badass hype songs. Part II

See Part I, I’m too lazy for a long intro. As promised Part II, 24h (something like that) after Part I

Also I’ll include another criteria for the songs here:

  • should sound great on full volume out of the stereo and without anyone near so you can go crazy

This is Part II with this time the real favorites and top spots. Let’s start:

5a509a5b5011f4a1789895b5bd268acc

Group 1: Because I could go crazy for them x.X (most of them, I admit)

Block B Bastarz – Zero for Conduct & Make It Rain

Originally I didn’t wanna include subunits but sooo many people named Bastarz, I decided to make an exception for them. I like their songs and I think it’s a great mix of crazy and hype and I even like the rap even though I normally don’t like rapping very much.

BTS – Fire & Danger & We Are Bulletproof & Not Today

I could make a list out of songs for this topic with just BTS songs, not because I’d actually want to but because BTS was in EVERY SINGLE list and most of the time it was named more than once. But well…it’s kind of BTS’s concept to be badass and hype in their songs, it’s what made them as big as they are now, and I definitely love those songs.

C-Clown – Let’s Love

Soooo many people are gonna ask “why? why is this here?” and I admit I thought long and hard and then realised: It’s my list, let me do what I want!! So this is here and I think this song is just hype and loud enough to fit here.

iKon – Rhythm Ta & (Anthem)

I haven’t really figured out if Anthem is an iKon song or just a collab between BI and Bobby…or was that Dumb and Dumber? Ah, I don’t know much about iKon but seriously iKon was named so often I had no idea how to react…also I don’t know if I actually chose the right songs…you should probably keep that in mind, sorry.

B.A.P. – One Shot & Warrior & Hurricane

I’m not gonna but all of the songs named in the lists here, that would be too many but B.A.P was definitely one of the top groups named. I totally know why.

Big Bang – Fantastic Baby & Bang Bang Bang

I agree with Fantastic Baby, since there is a reason it’s such an iconic song but Bang Bang Bang is cool and kinda badass but only the last part of it is really hype before that it’s more like “we’re not drunk enough to totally go nuts yet”. Do whatever you want with that comment…is it noticeable that I’m tired? I’m definitely never gonna proofread this…I’d probably go into shock if I did.

24K – Superfly & BINGO

With most of my list there is this one candidate why I even had the idea for the list. This time it was 24K’s Superfly. Seriously this song kills me EVERY TIME. And thankfully I wasn’t the only one who realised just how amazing the song is because it was also one of the top named songs in other lists.

MADTOWN – New World

I just discovered this song and I don’t really know what to think about it. After 24K it definitely seems less crazy and more orderly but at the same time it’s just…well, as mad as the other songs.

Block B – Narina/Nalina & Very Good

While I admit that Very Good does sound kinda happy, kinda, Nalina is just perfect for this list I think…The catchy tune makes it great to go crazy for.

4minute – Hate & Crazy

While there is no other female representative in this list, 4minute topped the females in this category. Like BTS, 4minute appeared in pretty much EVERY list and Hate and Crazy were named one of the most badass songs out there, especially by a female group.

So, here you have it. I tried really really really hard not to mention just the main stream groups, don’t know if I succeeded. I hope so 😀
